The "Wakey Wakey!" Spring Tour 2007

Pantglas – Saturday 21st April

Event: Special "Less" Free Range Weekend
Start time: 12 noon (finshes around 5pm)
Venue: Pantglas, near Llanwrda, Carmarthenshire
Places are limited – you must book in advance
Host/Contact: Tim and Mags, 01558 685353, or email timshaw@gn.apc.org

Free Range Weekends are organised by the Free Range Network. The purpose of this weekend is to investigate the ways in which we can campaign for "Less" – moving beyond solutions that work with the mainstream and looking at ways in which individuals can "step outside the system".

As well as looking at the past history of "Less", we'll be looking at ways in which we can redefine the mainstream environmental agenda from an approach based upon green consumerism solutions to environmental problems towards an approach that stresses the importance of lifestyle, and the contraction/reduction of resource and energy consumption.

Please note that the event in Llandeilo on Monday 12th March will explore similar issues to this weekend, although not in as much detail, and without the emphasis on planning future actions.

Free Range Weekends are not public events – they are a private party. Consequently admission is by invitation only. If you'd like an invitation, contact Tim Shaw.
