Wild Camping

The Free Range ‘Wild Camping’ Project aims to teach the skills of lifestyle change and degrowth through communicating the skills and practice of wild camping. It's fundamentally an English land rights project focussing on land access and wild camping as part of lifestyle change and regenerative ecopsychology… alternately summarised as,
Turn off; walk off; camp out!

‘Wild Camping’

From 2007, the Free Range Network ran a very fun project; ‘The Great Outdoors’. It sought to teach the skills of low impact living and energy descent by taking people camping. In 2011, against the enforced austerity following the financial crash, people didn’t want to go away for weekends to learn how to live with less… they could do that at home for free!

Now it’s time to re-image that project for today’s troublesome realities

We are, quite literally, still writing this as the new FRAW web site goes live! For that reason this will not be available for a few weeks.

At present most of the ‘The Stick Fire Cooking Grate’ and the ‘The Great Outdoors’ sections are working. The ‘Wild Camping’ section will be completed by the Autumn… once we’ve been camping!
